In a strange leak early this month, an internal Microsoft review of The Last of Us 2 gave fans an insight into what Sony's biggest rival thought of the game.

While the post and video don't go into too much detail, the PS5 version of The Last of Us 2 has been confirmed to feature enhanced resolutions, faster load times, and much more. Still, many former PS4 exclusives like Ghost of Tsushima and God of War have since capitalized on the new PlayStation 5 hardware by releasing updates to support the new tech. it has even managed to break a longstanding record, pulling in 300 out of a possible 576 Game of the Year awards. The lack of official news hasn't stopped the game from continuing to be in the forefront of players minds thanks in large part to the number of awards the game has managed to pick up both at the end of 2020 and even continuing into 2021. While it certainly dredged up a lot of controversy prior to launch last year, The Last of Us 2 was a big success for Sony and Naughty Dog, also being one of the last big releases exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
